Zac Efron to visit Manila on Septermber 2012

MANILA, Philippines – Hollywood star Zac Efron, who signed an endorsement deal with local fashion brand Penshoppe early this year, will visit the Philippines next month.













On Twitter, Penshoppe said Efron will meet his Filipino fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 29.
It added that this will be the actor’s first visit to the Philippines.

Efron is set to lead the brand’s “All Stars” campaign, which also includes “Gossip Girl” stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, “The Vampire Diaries” actor Ian Somerhalder, and Thai idol Mario Maurer.
Getting big foreign stars as endorsers has become a trend among local clothing companies.
Bench, Penshoppe’s rival brand, has tapped “American Idol” finalist David Archuleta, “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale, and “The Vampire Diaries” actor Michael Trevino as its endorsers.
Its newest recruit is Joe Jonas of The Jonas Brothers.
Ladies’ apparel brand Kamiseta, meanwhile, earlier got Hollywood actress Katie Holmes as one of its endorsers.
