The iPhone 5: This is probably it!

MANILA, Philippines — Apple is said to be releasing its next-generation iPhone smartphone in September, but already details are being leaked to various technology blogs regarding how the final design of the next iPhone would look like.

While some of the new iPhone’s purported parts have leaked to the press, the recent addition to the iPhone rumor mill shows the entire iPhone enclosure for the first time, as posted by Japanese blog iLab.

In the series of photos posted by iLab, all the rumored changes to the iPhone 5 all but check out — the larger 4-inch screen, the headphone jack at the bottom near the new 19-pin dock port, the placement of the FaceTime camera, and the metallic backplate.

The snapshots also offer a view into the possible form factor of the next iPhone, which appears noticeably thinner than its predecessors.

Aside from the externals specifications, Apple’s new smartphone opus is also rumored to feature a fused glass and Retina display panel and the possibility of using a nano SIM card, which all point to a deliberate effort to make the next iPhone considerably thinner.

Apple, as always, is tight-lipped about details of its new devices, even as leaks and rumors continue to pervade over the World Wide Web. We would have to wait until September to have these iPhone 5 rumors confirmed.
