MANILA, Philippines -- The official Twitter account of the UAAP Season 75 came under fire Sunday when they tweeted the result of the game between the Ateneo Blue Eagles and the National University Bulldogs.
The account, which is handled by the UAAP Online Media Bureau, tweeted: "ADMU dominates overrated NU, 89-65."
They added the hashtag #collegehoops.

UAAP fans criticized the said post, questioning why the official account used the word "overrated."

The official UAAP Season 75 Twitter account (@UAAPSeason75) came under fire Sunday when they tweeted the result of the game between the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles and the National University Bulldogs, wherein they called the Bulldogs 'overrated.'

Apologies for the 'overrated' comment. An intern from UE was operating the account during the Ateneo-NU game. The comment is uncalled for..- ...and does not reflect the UAAP's stand on the game. We will enforce guidelines tighter next time and ensure that no such comment be made..
